What WOG attempted to build
The goal was broader than one esports team: professional rosters, tournaments, a game house, content, community, a website and a tournament platform designed as connected parts of one ecosystem.
Its central slogan, ‘Gaming is a job,’ described the question behind the company: what infrastructure would make a professional path more credible for Iranian players?
Outcome
Alipour left in September 2020 for personal reasons. Much of the product is no longer publicly accessible. This site therefore presents surviving identity work and clearly labels operating figures as founder-reported rather than independently verified.
