From gaming product to ecosystem
The path began at MOBAGYM, a social network for gamers, where design expanded into product and development work. WOG followed in 2020 as an attempt to build teams, tournaments, content, community and a tournament platform around Iranian players.
Gamma produced competitions and visual research about the games industry. Later work included management roles around a Dota 2 team and the launch of a gaming arm at Zino Network.
Evidence and limits
A surviving appointment letter dated 21 June 2020 names Alipour as Secretary of the Esports Competitions Committee for Tehran Province. User and team-size figures elsewhere on this site are explicitly marked as founder-reported where independent records are not available.
